OUR HISTORY

'Ksan Campground has been developed on the land of the Gitxsan Nation.

We are proud of our heritage and we embrace everybody who comes to visit our territory.

Located alongside the Skeena River,  'Ksan is a village that the Gitxsan people lived at many centuries ago.

The 'Ksan Campground and 'Ksan Village and Museum have been in business since 1968, and take pride in giving all tourist an everlasting experience that will make them want to come back.

EXPLORE THE HISTORICAL VILLAGE

Located directly beside our campground, you can easily explore and take a tour at the 'Ksan Historical Village and Museum. This location will teach you the history of the Gitxsan people and how we lived many centuries ago, containing actual artifacts and recreations of tools, masks and art that the Gitxsan people created. With the village being only a five-minute walk away from your campsite, the ability to explore our Gitxsan history is more available to you than ever.

VISIT THE POINT

With multiple paths stemming from our campground, you can choose your way to reach what we call "The Point". The Gitxsan People's history revolved around our two rivers: The Skeena and The Bulkley. Our renovated paths take you on a scenic five-minute walk directly to the meeting point for both rivers, an amazing sight to behold. We our proud to say that are trails are easily accessible and available to be traveled by everyone.
